Country Kitchen Update
Bright, Casual, Updated
Our clients wanted to update the kitchen to feel clean, comfortable, and inviting, but needed it to still coordinate with the rest of the open floor plan. They really liked the existing layout so we maintained the foot print, which kept us from disrupting the flooring, but we updated just about all of it!
The custom-designed vent hood over the new cooktop is a showpiece we love! The wood accent matches the wood in the built-in wine rack, and draws attention to the white tile arranged in a 45 degree herringbone pattern. Pulling from the red accents throughout the home, we painted the inside of the pantry in a red hue and added the beautiful patterned tile over the bar for an added punch. The huge island received a black paint, to match the pantry door, but we painted the surrounding cabinetry in a creamy hue that pops against the existing wall color throughout the open floor plan. With black hardware on the creamy cabinets and gold hardware on the black island, the oil-rubbed bronze faucets blend together perfectly and tie in the gorgeous quartz countertops.
We love how the casual but sophisticated vibe perfectly matches our clients and makes the kitchen fit right in with the rest of the home!
