Dreamy Dining Room

We loved transforming this dining room for our delightful clients in Harper's Mill with a family of 5!

The original room was rarely used but our client wanted a dining space for family gatherings. The planked table extends to seat even more folks so they're ready to host holidays comfortably.  The lovely, casual upholstered chairs are perfect for lingering at the dinner table and easy to clean.

As the first room you see when you walk in the home, we wanted to bring the wow factor! The navy grasscloth wallpaper and custom flowing white drapes did just the trick. We love how the arched metal cabinet beautifully stores and showcases her collection of white serving dishes. The cabinet's curves balance the more linear forms in the room and add some height to the space. We especially love how this arch mimics the arched mirror across the room in the entry area! Updating the lighting across the spaces, letting in more natural light from the windows, and using the full size mirror to bounce light around the open area really brightened up the space. She loves how it all came together so perfectly and so do we!
