Eat-In Kitchen Makeover

Lighter, brighter, and more organized! We’re in love with the black and white play alongside vintage accents in this beautiful space to seat a family of 5.

The cabinets don’t always need to be painted or replaced! (Especially if you love them how they are.)

Your light fixture does NOT need to be centered in the room! (It just needs to be centered over the table.)

Some simple, affordable updates made in this family kitchen had a huge impact.

What did we do?

• added controls for the light streaming in while maintaining easy access to the deck, for everyone AND the dog! 

• added a classic, timeless subway tile backsplash with lighter countertops

• swapped in fresh hardware

• installed rustic pendant lights over the peninsula

• updated the ceiling light fixture

• freshened paint colors on walls and ceiling

• added counter stools for each kiddo

• rearranged where items were stored in kitchen drawers and cabinets to make it really function for how they use it
