Functional Farmhouse Half Bath

Once upon a time, a client had a powder room she hated. The floating shelves couldn't hold the weight and pressure of someone pushing on a soap dispenser. The vessel sink splashed water all over the place. The shape of the room was odd and made it difficult to decorate.

She dreamed of remodeling it into a space that had more room and functioned better. So, she hired an experienced interior decorator (me!) to transform her bathroom and make her dream a beautiful reality.

This was a tricky space that needed a unique, custom solution in order to meet our client's needs and tastes:

• Custom designed and built vanity with beautiful, exposed plumbing

• Additional lighting (on a dimmer, of course!)

• Bespoke window treatment

• Upgraded toilet and hardware
