Lovely Living Room

Joyful, Velvety, Green

The "before" brown was feeling tired, dull, and old after 14 years in their Powhatan, VA home. They knew they wanted blue walls and a green sofa but needed help selecting the specifics and making it all come together with an open floor plan.

With pets in mind, we selected a velvet performance fabric for their custom sofa and chairs, and added stunning slipper chairs for extra seating when hosting larger groups of friends and family. By raising the window treatment and selecting an appropriately sized mirror for the mantle, we were able to draw more attention to the lovely architectural details of the ceiling.

We fixed a lot of the existing issues, like a tv stand that was too small for their tv and not enough lighting in the living room, but we were also focused on keeping many of the existing pieces that they loved, like the coffee table and crystal lamp.
